      Doug Socha is the head football coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina. In the 2024 season, Socha led the Bears to a 10–3 record and a second-round appearance in the NCAA Division II playoffs. He owns an impressive 71–23 overall record as a head coach.

      Socha brings 20 years of coaching experience spanning the high school, college, and NFL levels. Over his career, he has earned six Coach of the Year honors, won five district titles, two independent championships, and one state championship.

      Prior to Lenoir-Rhyne, Socha was the head coach at Keiser University, where he guided the Seahawks to national prominence. Before Keiser, he spent one season with the Buffalo Bills as an Offensive Assistant and Quality Control coach, gaining valuable NFL experience.

      Socha previously served as the head coach at Oxbridge Academy for four seasons. As the program’s first head coach, he built the school’s football program from the ground up beginning in 2012, compiling a 28–6 record, two independent championships, and a district title. He also spent eight seasons at American Heritage, including five as offensive coordinator and three as head coach.

      Socha began his college coaching career in 2000 at the University at Buffalo, serving as a Defensive Graduate Assistant and Inside Linebackers Coach, before moving into the role of Recruiting Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach for five seasons.
